Alpine Youth Center is in Immediate Need of Donations & Volunteers!

November 10, 2016 – Hello Alpine – My name is Joseph Vanderbilt and I am the head of The Alpine Youth Center here in Alpine. I am reaching out to the community to let them know that we are in immediate need of financial contributions as well as volunteers. I am reaching out to raise awareness of the need. We are entering into a season that is pivotal to whether we remain open or not and we are calling upon the community to support the center. For those of you that are currently or have given of your time, thoughts, prayers, and finances I thank you. Please consider contributing in any way you can.

Volunteers:

We will take what we can get but ideally we like them to commit to a 2 hour shift once a week, we are needing volunteers for Monday-Friday 2-4:30 or 4:30-7, but we will use whatever people are willing to commit to, the key is commitment, once they sign up for a time, we anticipate them showing up weekly as often as possible, we understand that things come up though. The volunteers basically monitor the youth activity and make sure the environment is safe, we can always use some people who want to come in and clean the facilities, that is super helpful as well.
